ReviewsWatch your step On the surface Altitude seemed like just what Laramie needed. A brewery with a nice restaurant. Unfortunately, it has lousy food like most of restaurants in Laramie. As there are few restaurants to choose from, I have eaten there at least 20 times, only 1-2 times having something that is acutally average. They do okay with the traditional bar food (e.g., burgers, fries, apps, etc.) but have a hard time cooking burgers anything but totally black (they do get it right on occassion). Much of the fish/steak is over-cooked as well. The prices are way above-average for the quality of the food and the beers are marginal at best. Stick with the wheat and you might be okay. I have to say it definitely varies, one time you might be surprised with how "not terrible" something is, but then you get a bad meal again.
