The beer brewed on the premises is hearty, strong and palatable. The menu is not 5 star New York City, but it is a nice place to go out if your tastes are inclined toward a meal of substance and local flavor. The accomodations are rustic and comfortable. A unique arrangment of background music, upstairs dark, quiet seating is available and New direction toward a better brew pub atmosphere with some more activites is evolving.
