As a vegan, I'm thrilled to be able to order virtually anything on the menu and not have to worry or ask a million questions. So relaxing! And the menu is just stuffed with tasty options. Everything is wonderfully (and quickly!) prepared to order. Add broccoli here, extra spice there - they do it all with a smile. (Speaking of broccoli, this is the ONLY restaurant I've found that serves it so perfectly, lightly steamed: bright green and crunchy!) I agree that the menu is an interesting read - since going there, I've learned what burdock, jinenjo, and wolfberry are, and what they're good for (besides taste!). The staff is indeed a joy, every one of them; they make newcomers feel comfortable and they fawn over their regulars. All of their food is so fresh, flavorful, and full of variety. The portions are perfect, and the price is very reasonable. They are the best vegetarian restaurant I have ever been to. Their meat substitutes are delicious. All of the waiters and owners are extremely friendly, and the beautiful sunflower setting is very comfortable. A wonderful restaurant altogether.
