ReviewsExcellent food - zero atmostphere Anita's has a couple of locations. The one in Herndon is in an old house on a corner in the heart of "old" Herndon. Anita's isn't Mexican food, it's New Mexican food, meaning the cuisine of New Mexico. So there are a lot of subtle variations from the Tex-Mex standard. Everything is served with red or green sauce, and there are some unexpected ingredients, such as potatoes in tacos. The menu is huge. I've tried a lot of things and have never had a bad meal there.
