Reviewsno service! I went to Carlos O'Kelly's tonight and we had no service whatsoever, the girl, April, took other peoples' orders who got there 10 minutes after us, other people came in behind us they sat down and left before we even got our food! My mother said something about it when we had been there 15 minutes and didn't have our drinks and so we had another waiter because she was mad. They did not even bring our appetizers, when the food got there we said forget the appetizers and the guy did not even know about them. I was very disappointed we waited 40 minutes before we got our food I went to Carlos O'Kelly's tonight and we had no service whatsoever, the girl, April, took other peoples' orders who got there 10 minutes after us, other people came in behind us they sat down and left before we even got our food! My office orders from the Fredericksburg Carlos O'Kelly's on at least a weekly basis. We average anywhere from 4 to 7 orders a week. Every week we ask for extra chips and salsa because we never have enough to pass out to our entire group, and every week we are told that we only are allowed a 1/2 bag of chips and 1 small container of salsa; however, if we eat in the restaurant, we can have an unlimited amount of chips and salsa. We called the manager today to complain, and she allowed us to have extra for today only, but never again. Unfortunately, my office REALLY likes the Santa Fe Chicken Salad, but hey! There are a million other places to eat in Central Park, so I guess we'll have to look for a place with better customer service. I think it was funny; I had so much fun, thanx Carlos O'Kellys. The food isn't too expensive and the service isn't too bad (although don't expect too much). Overall, we go to Carlos to pick up a quick bite to eat and stuff ourselves with free chips and salsa which I consider to be some of the best in town. Give it a try if you like Mexican food and want a quick bite to eat. The boys and I eat at Carlos down the street from us at least once a week.
