Once I called in an order and I said shrimp The food is good if you can get pass the rudeness of the manager. Once I called in an order and I said shrimp po-boy instead of a sub and the manager rudely asked me "If I knew where I was calling." After ordering, I went to pick it up. He was short one sandwich. I then informed him that whoever he had answering the phone was rude and that is not a way he would want other customers treated. He told me that he was the one that takes phone orders and he learned how to be rude from his manager. He said, "Well, do you even want sandwiches and I told him yes for today, but I will not be back. His comment was,"Well, we don't need your business!" Something happened when the old owner sold it last year, the ingredients are not the same. The fish is now only "good".....it used to be "fantastic"! There menu still says they have the bacon in them so if they are not going to bring back the bacon in them then they should be up to date and take it off the menu. The fried shrimp still taste fresh and there is no other place like them. But the people that work there do need a little manners. Remember a while back we walked in and they were scraping the expiration dates off cans of oysters....And their shrimp have a neon-orange glow to them once they're fried. Got ill one-time after eating here and called the health inspector for Baytown--the person I spoke with said it is a wonder more food poisoning cases didn't come from this place than the stack he had on file.
