Ordered medium rare, comes out medium well. Server never comes around to see if the food is good, then lies to the manager right in fornt of us. Managers are not any better, told me my steak was medium rare. I guess if its not burnt, then its rare from the country he comes from. The alfredo tasted like lipton in a cup. The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and paced the meal perfectly. The ambiance was so unique and who can complain seated beneath two numbered and signed Salvador Dali pieces. But only seeing the server three times in over two hours on a tuesday night is well bellow normal. The food tasted good, but waiting almost 45 minutes for it when we were one of only 4 table in the place at 7:30 is not a good sign of a well run restaurant. We saw our server for our order, food drop off, and check drop off. No explanation of why a 2 med-rare steaks take 45 min to cook, or why after we asked for a refill on water it NEVER came. In two hours we NEVER got a drink refill. I asked for the manager and she seemed like it was my problem for showing up and expecting a meal with service for only $78. The wine is way overpriced for a bottle. This meal was the first time in 37 years of dining I did not leave a tip. I will never go back again. Maybe I just have high expectations.
