Reviews THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. MY HUSBAND AND I HAD 1/2 CHICKEN DINNER AND THE PULLED PORK DINNERS. I FOUND THE PULLED PORK DINNER WAS EXCELLENT BUT JUST WASN'T ENOUGH OF IT. I ALSO HAD BAKED BEANS AND THE BAKED POTATO SALAD. THE POTATO SALAD WAS DELICIOUS, ACTUALLY IT WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN. YOU DON'T GIVE OUT RECIPES DO YOU? THE BAKED BEANS WERE O.K. Almost every Sunday night we sit anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes and no server acknowledges us. Tonight, we were seated around 15 minutes. I saw at least 3 servers on the floor. Two male servers waited on tables around us. Neither ackowledged us or offered to assist us. Finally, I went up to the hostess at the front. I told her that no server greeted us, asked if he could help, or otherwise appeared to see us. The hostess asked where we were sitting. I asked if she did not know since she sat us around 15 minutes ago. She did get a server to come to our table. He laughed and said the hostess was new. I think he wanted to "play it off" that if was a "rookie mistake". I'm not sure about how long the hostess has been employed. However, I find this problem is not confined to one night. It happens every Sunday night. We enjoy Corky's or we would eat at another restaurant. I thought you would like to know we are having this problem. A good customer service training program might be in order for hostesses and servers alike! It only takes a moment to acknowledge a guest.
