Just ask and they'll bring you a bowl of the best fried chicken pullybones in the world . Mrs. Shealy also serves up some great liver nips which is a spiced creamed liver concoction that no one's ever heard of outside of Lexington and Newberry County. I have eaten all over the South and this country buffet is the best there is . I would rate it above Mrs. Wilkes in Savanah and the Blue Willow in Social Circle , Ga. The BBQ is only average but who cares there is so much to love about this place including the daily Bible verse that makes you forget your gluttony . I once went there with some folks from Cal. who video taped all those long tables of southerns in overalls breaking bread together .
