ReviewsGreat Seafood - Best since Edisto Motel Restaurant Several decades ago Jacksonboro was famous for the Edisto Motel Restaurant, which served the best seafood in that part of the state in my opinion. Since it closed more than ten years ago, Toomers has taken up the challenge. I've eaten at Toomers many times over the years and their service is much better now that they're under new ownership. The food is great, and always has been in the tradition of Jacksonboro seafood!! Several decades ago Jacksonboro was famous for the Edisto Motel Restaurant, which served the best seafood in that part of the state in my opinion.
