ReviewsThe True Start of Restaurant Row There has been much talk lately about the new "restaurant row" that is developing along Historic Bethlehem's Broad Street. Long-time residents, however, can tell you that one of the finest restaurants on Broad Street has been with us for decades. I have always been highly impressed with any visit to The Cafe, and I think you will find it delightful as well, no matter what your usual dining preference. They serve a variety of French, American, and Thai cuisine, prepared fresh and quite promptly. The atmosphere is elegant, yet inviting. Service is always flawless and attentive, yet never intruding. Be sure to try the fresh, hot bread as soon as it arrives at your table, and leave a little room for one of their famous deserts. Reservations are recommended. Try them for lunch for especially quick service and very reasonable prices. Also a great place for a business luncheon as they have private rooms available upon request. A point of clarification to Susannah's submission is that there is most definitely a French influence on all of the dishes, especially the Thai ones. I've eaten at some of the most authentic Thai restaurants, and The Cafe adds a formal French twist to the traditional cuisine. If you're in "The Valley" you should definitely check it out.
