ReviewsAgree that its the best steak in Oregon If you've never been to Haines, don't blink, as the town is a dinky flashing yellow light on a back road from La Grande to Baker. But in this tiny town is the best corn fed beef steak I've found. The portions are generous, and the taste is tremendous. The salad bar is sparse, but just to the side of that are the best smoked beans I've ever had. I usually bag the salad, and have extra beans!
