ReviewsThe Hideaway Grille worth the time it takes to find it... Walking in on a Tuesday night my guest and I are seated immediatley in a booth near the back. The restaurant is nearly full, but there is no wait. The service is prompt, efficent, and friendly and the food is well worth the three wrong turns and being stopped at every red light. Walking in on a Tuesday night my guest and I are seated immediatley in a booth near the back. The restaurant is nearly full, but there is no wait. The service is prompt, efficent, and friendly and the food is well worth the three wrong turns and being stopped at every red light. The Hideaway is decorated in shades of pink and purple and features posters of The Rat Pack, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley to name a few. Extrememly clean and quaint, although the dining room is a little small. After sharing an appetizer of coconut shrimp, served with a pina coloda sauce which was just the right blend of sweet and fish, we ordered our main course. My guest ordered the Hideaway's special, Ed's Famous Barbeque Ribs, and the meat all but fell off the bone. The barbeque sauce was unlike anything I've run into before and I was informed that it's homemade. I ordered the black and bleu tuna (Grilled Tuna with sauteed mushrooms and peppers with melted crumbly blue cheese) which was cooked to perfection and presented artfully. The portions were large enough that we needed to make use of the carryout containers. The prices on the menu are more than reasonable and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I would reccomend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a good meal that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Reservations probably wouldn't be necessary, but it does help to call ahead for dinner. Friday reservations aren't accepted, but that's the busiest day by far. Food Rating [10/10] Service Rating [10/10] Ambiance Rating [8/10]
