The food is and has always been Wonderful, for over 20 years my family has traveled to Old Forge and has never let a trip go by with out a good cooked meal at the Buffalo Head Restaurant! Even a knife had a hard time. Stopped in a few years ago and ordered sirloin steak. Steak was cut about 1/2" thick and was soooo dry. Vowed to never stop again but tried Friday and found nothing had improved. 2 dinners at $8.50 each. Wasted!! Stopped in Friday (7/25)and ordered the fish fry. The fish was terribly overdone.
