ReviewsDANGEROUS PLACE TO EAT We went there at night for supper before heading back to Canada, since we were in the Walden Galleria mall. Basically, upon sitting at the booth, the seat went forward and I was practically dropped into a box. I told the waitress who laughed it off and when asked said it happens once a month. I couldn't believe her attitude or what happened. We didn't have time to complain since we were heading back to Canada the same night. The supper was spoiled for both of us, as my dinner companion and I were worried it would happen again, so we moved the table closer the other way, and it ruined our comfort level. I contacted the head office when I got back to town. They told me someone would call shortly and then I found out after waiting hours and calling back, that they left for the day. The following week the manager of the restaurant called me and we agreed on him sending me gift certificates GOOD IN CANADA or the USA. I felt things would be fine. I was wrong. The president of SIR Corp called me at 10:30pm at night while I was sleeping. I never asked for the president to call. He woke me up but when I got to the phone he already left a message. I HAD TO CALL HIM LONG DISTANCE IN THE USA. I always avoid long distance charges, especially out of Canada. He had me repeat everything including my conversation with Mr. Piazza (the buffalo manager), and then hinted that if I write him an e-mail with my address he may add to the gift certificate amount. I immediately wrote him and there was no answer for days. When he finally did write he refused to add anything for my long distance call, having to repeat what happened, etc. He has shown total disregard for what happened and my feelings. As it turns out the gift certificates received are stamped valid at Walden Galleria, which goes against everything I was told from Mr. Piazza and was agreed upon. Mr. Galanos hasn't addressed the issues and said the case is closed. It isn't. I will be making a formal complaint against this disgusting company.
