ReviewsDONT GO!!!!!!!!! We saw the sign and decided to try this establishment for the first time for dinner. We arrived at 7:25pm. While the hostess stood with her back to us we waited ten minutes to be seated. In that time, three of the wait staff came and told us that they would like to seat us, but had to wait for the hostess. Finally, after we had waited 10 minutes the hostess ceased her conversation and sat us. We met our waitress and placed our order. We then waited 20 minutes for very warm ice teas. We then waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes for our dinner. We understand that the food is made hot and fresh at the time and order is placed, but 1hour and 30 minutes we feel was excessive. We were never served any water, my husband never received his salad that should have come with his dinner and our teas were extremely warm with no ice all thru our meal. Over the course of our meal our waitress came to see us all of 3 times and that was twice for our order and once to drop off our appetizer. Four tables came in after us and all of them received their dinners before we received ours. When we were almost done our meals a new waitress came to us and told us that our waitress had left and she was our new one. We did speak to the hostess who gave us a very poor excuse that our waitress was new and was not that efficient. If that‘s the case then she shouldn’t have been working alone! The hostess offered us free deserts as sign of understanding. At that time, we asked to speak to the owner. She responded with informing us that she were too busy. We then, while waiting an additional 20 minutes for our desert informed our waitress that we wanted to speak with the owner. When she returned she informed us that she was not there. That was a blatant LIE. We knew she was there since we had been sitting next to the owner's son and daughter the entire meal. We had seen and heard the owner and her husband come out and talk with them, so we new they were both there in the kitchen. The hostess assured us that she would personally see to getting our deserts in a timely fashion. However, when my husband went to the bathroom she was sitting in the bar visiting with the bartender. We then spoke to the hostess again and she denied adjusting our meal cost. We find this to be very poor business practice. We had a poor meal, very substandard service, a hostess who does not understand the idea of making a customer happy and a staff who lies to it’s customers including the owner. We would have been happy if she had at least offered to comp part of our meal. We find it extremely insulting to have such a substandard meal in every way and actually be expected to pay a $56.68 bill. Unfortunately, our dinner complaints fell on deaf ears.
