Food Rating [10/10] Service Rating [8/10] Ambiance Rating [8/10] Ill Never Go Back! Stopped in Jenk's Cafe one evening with my mother to get a bite to eat. My mother ordered a ribeye steak and I ordered a hamburger steak. The ribeye was tough and difficult to cut and chew. It was like leather. As soon as that fact was discovered, we informed the waitress and requested that we not be charged, since the steak was inedible and uneaten. Stopped in Jenk's Cafe one evening with my mother to get a bite to eat. My mother ordered a ribeye steak and I ordered a hamburger steak. The ribeye was tough and difficult to cut and chew. It was like leather. As soon as that fact was discovered, we informed the waitress and requested that we not be charged, since the steak was inedible and uneaten. The manager came to the table and we reiterated the condition of the meat. She then took my mother's knife & fork and cut very thin slivers of the steak, saying it was not tough and that it was our responsibility to cut the meat into portions that could be eaten. She also declared that ours was the only complaint and then refused to either remove the charge or allow us to select a replacement dish. This place fails on the quality of the food and the service.
