ReviewsWhere tradition lives on Basiles is a family owned restaurant, it has great home cooked food. I would say the food is traditional Italian. It is comfort food (feel good food). I always judge a restaurant on the feeling I get from dining there or if I crave certain dishes after I dined there and at Basiles I always need a fix, they have unbelievable seafood Fra Dablo, their pizza is old world Brooklyn good! They have wonderful servers, and are very kid friendly. My favorite dishes are grilled salmon, and broccoli rabe and sausage over linguini. It was my first visit. I had the homemade lasagna, which was not only a 5-star dish, but a huge portion. The service staff is a group of professional, courteous, and very attractive girls who were super. I would return here again any time I was in the area. What a great find!!!!
