ReviewsBaccio is the best value in town. I eat at Baccio's frequently. I think I tried most of Johnny's specials so far. His Seafood specials are always fresh and done to my liking. It depends on what he gets in fresh that day. Tuna, Mako and SeaBass are among my favorites. Then there is my old standby Linguini with white clam sauce, just enough garlic and so many clams there is little room for the pasta. Baccio Ristorante is affordable to eat out at more than once a week. An unbelievable Tour of Italy dinner for two on Tuesday night is only $24.95. That night's signature dish as far as I am concerned is the Veal Pizziaola I eat at Baccio's frequently. I think I tried most of Johnny's specials so far. Johnny and his staff are the best in Monmouth and Ocean County. The menu is very diverse, and everything is prepared perfectly. My wife loves the Penne Arrabiata, but my favorite is one of Johnny's specialties, Steak Asagi. It is a huge ribeye steak, split, and stuffed with fresh mozzarella cheese, and topped with shitaki mushrooms and lump crabmeat in a vermouth demi-glaze. Outstanding! "Ambiance: Big, bright letters proclaim Baccio, but the snazzy eatery feels far removed from its strip mall locale. A gurgling fountain and murals of the Mediterranean adorn the entrance, leading to sparkling, nightclub-y quarters. Comfortably spaced tables invite intimacy. The Staff is casual and courteous. The food is upscale Italian-American dishes." Food Rating [8/10] Service Rating [8/10] Ambiance Rating [8/10]
