Recently visited the Oceanview, and was fairly satisfied with the food, although the fried trout was a little extra crispy, making it somewhat dry at the ends of the filet. The portions were large, and the price was reasonable for the amount of food. There was not a tremendous amount of flavor to the fried trout, but it was pleasant. The service was very attentive, but not intrusive. My companion and I had Coke and iced tea, respectively. When the waitress brought the drinks, she brought two glasses of Coke and a small pitcher of tea in addition to my glass of tea, so that we would not have to worry about refills. This was a nice touch. My companion was somewhat disappointed to find out that they didn't have many non-seafood dishes at all (she doesn't eat seafood), but said the cheese sticks were tasty. The bathrooms seemed clean enough, but there was an unpleasant smell in the men's room, despite the fact that we arrived shortly after they opened, and the bathroom appeared vaguely "sloppy". (There were some small pieces of paper towel on the floor, several ceiling tiles were falling down, the door didn't swing shut automatically, one stall didn't have walls...) All in all, an acceptable experience for a basic, family seafood restaurant. (Restaurant has a 95.5% sanitation rating from the state.) The service was great, the food was awesome, and it was just perfect. The bus boys were all in all excellent at cleaning the tables, and the waitresses did a good job as well. I noticed that they had several tall Bus Boys, one that said hello, and have a nice evening to me..that was a nice touch. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.
