ReviewsSWEETEST Strawberry Cake in the South! Before my family moved to WV, the Backstage Cafe was a bi-weekly stop for me and my girlfriends and daughters. We'd usually begin with a nice homemade soup and a reuben and then top off our meal with a slice of Linda's HEAVENLY strawberry cake. Of all the tasty homemade treats, this is my ABSOLUTE favorite. In fact I was known to buy whole cakes for any occasion...including just sitting around with my family for the weekend. It is the best and I've tried several times to duplicate the recipe since I've moved away. Since I've had NO success, I'll have to rely on my fond memories of the Backstage Cafe for now!
