ReviewsDONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!! This restaurant may not look like the fanciest place in the world, in fact; I past it my many times. Until, one day my adventurous brother decided to try it out. He told me about it and I haven't stopped going since. The service is great! The ambiance is cozy especially if you get a table next to the wall sized aquarium. I was never a big seafood fan, that is, until I tasted the food at Bay-N-Surf. I would have to say their best dishes, well atleast the ones I have tried so far; are the Surf-N-Turf and the Crab Trio. The Surf-N-Turf consists of tender filet mignon, a delicious crab cake, fried or broiled to perfection with a side of choice. Perferably a baked potato (which they mix with some kind of wonderful, special, secret sauce), and the best cole slaw I've ever tasted. The Crab Trio comes with the hugest shrimp I've ever seen, stuffed with delicious crab meat; one of those irresistible lump meat crab cakes, and last but most definitely not the least; the CREAM OF CRAB SOUP!!! THE CREAM OF CRAB SOUP is absolutely the most incredible soup I have ever had the pleasure of consuming in my entire life. It's almost like they put an addicting ingredient in this tastebud tantalizing bowl of warm greatness. The experience is almost indescrible. You merely have to try it for yourself and you'll see what I mean. Everyone I tell, tries it and all you hear are moans and groans, mmmm's and aaaah's. One spoonful and your hooked! Don't get me wrong the whole meal is delightful, but save the soup for dessert. It's just that good. Bay-N-Surf is definetely the way to go!!! The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. Although, the garden salad tasted as if it came from an iceburg salad bag. The Cream of Crab Soup is definately the best. (Even better with the Zinfindel)My 22 month old son had the rice and beans which were excellent! But it was all downhill from there. We had a glass of the house Chablis and it was TERRIBLE. The Zinfindel was infintely better. The salad was very dissapoiniting. It was dry pieces of iceburg. I had the house vinigrette which didn't hold up to most bottled dressings. The 7 oz lobster tail was over-cooked. It was a very chewey piece of $30 lobster jerky. Now I do understand that lobster tail can be overcooked very easily, but at this point I felt like it was time to say something to the waiter. He was very gracious and went to talk to the manager. When he related what the manager said I was in shock! She said that is what you get with a 7 Oz lobster tail! No visit, just a very insulting remark. They just lost any future business from me or my family. I had the Cream of Crab Soup and the 7 oz Lobster Tail. The Crab Soup WAS great.
