ReviewsFor the Frugal Sushi Lover Offers a "touch" of the true sushi experience by offering all you can eat sushi. The quality is good, however they go heavy on the rice (to fill you up). Lunch selection is not as complete as the dinner selection as they leave out the more pricey selections (unagi, ebi, etc.). They do also feature a mongolian grill where you can select a "meat" (chicken, shrimp, or beef) and have it stir fried with vegetables or other seasonings. Food Rating [8/10] Service Rating [8/10] Ambiance Rating [8/10] Insulting that they try to call it sushi I can sum the food up in one word: "ugh." The sushi is not terribly fresh and there are lots of unsavory rolls laden with cream cheese (!) and uncooked asparagus (or whatever might be on sale at the Weis market nearby). Some of the hot items are better, but still not worth the trip. Sushi buffets often offer pale imitations of the fine sushi we can get in the DC area, but Sushi Chalet offers some of the worst. I didn't rate the service since this is a buffet. I can sum the food up in one word: "ugh." It is large balls of rice with tiny slivers of second rate fish on it. They should rename this a "rice buffet". What they serve has nothing to do with sushi.
