Reviews The food I've had here has been hit-or miss. The cappellini pomodoro was not nearly as fresh or flavorful as the Olive Garden's version. But the Penne Rustica was very good; I didn't hesitate to take home leftovers of that dish. The steak was okay but didn't quite live up to its full-page billing as a special on one visit. Based on my experiences with these dishes, I would recommend sticking to pasta, and particularly sticking to menu items designated as "Romano's Family Recipe." I have often encountered long lines here. Waiting customers get beepers but not much of a waiting area. The high ceiling and hard surfaces, along with lots of kids among the clientele, contribute to a high noise level. This restaurant does not seem to handle large groups well. I visited this restaurant for lunch with some co-workers (having called ahead well in advance), and they were not prepared for us.
