ReviewsMixed Review In my mind, Peking Garden is most associated with dim sum, and, in fact, it has some things one does not find elsewhere (e.g., daikon pie aka radish pie). They recently changed the dim sum menu a bit, making it much better in my opinion. Some of the welcome additions are daikon gelatin (usually called daikon or radish cake) and tripe. Another favorite of mine is tofu rolls, which seem to be tofu skin around veggies. They are served with, of all things, what tastes like Worcestershire Sauce! I also love the sweet soy milk, which tastes much better than the now-ubiquitous soy milks found in stores. As far the other fare goes, I prefer Yangtze River, although I do sometimes partake of Peking Garden's buffet. Tastes must vary though, because Peking Garden has been in business for decades and seems to have its following. My ratings will be for the restaurant as a whole. Simply said, its lunch buffet offers the best bang for the buck with reasonably good food and variety for a very affordable price (around $8).
