Tiny Restaurant, Good Food

This really is a mom-and-pop style Korean place, with "mom" taking most of the orders, and "pop" doing most of the cooking. There are only a few small tables, and most of the business seems to be take-out. Service is limited but friendly -- you order at a counter, and bus your own table. There are only a few small tables, and most of the business seems to be take-out. Service is limited but friendly -- you order at a counter, and bus your own table. The food ranges from very good to so-so. Most dishes come with a seaweed soup, some kimchee, and rice. The bulgoki is a little sweet for my taste, and the chapchae could use a little more vegetable or meat (especially since it is served with rice, making a very starchy meal). They do, however, have a very good rendition of the Korean soup Kimchee Jigae (spicy kimchee and pork soup), for a very reasonable price. And their spicy pork bulgogi is also very good.
