Poor Customer Service from night managers on 4th of July 2003

4th July of 2003, I ordered an appetizer sampler and ate approximately half of my food. I saved the ribs for last because they are my favorite. I started eating the ribs and my wife noticed there was something on the meat. I called for manager, took around 15 minutes before he came acknowledged our table. I told him what the problem was and didn't ask for anything. Just wanted to let him know. 4th July of 2003, I ordered an appetizer sampler and ate approximately half of my food. I called for manager, took around 15 minutes before he came acknowledged our table. I told him what the problem was and didn't ask for anything. Just wanted to let him know. His reply was "Guys, this is just a business and it happens from time to time". All I wanted was an explanation or appology or some type of comprimise/understanding and I got nothing. Except the same quote stated earlier. I think that a manager of a pretty big franchise should have some type of customer service skills and show some type of concern which I don't feel I received. I feel I was not taken serious and I don't want this to happen to others.
