ReviewsI Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham Every once and awhile, as a local, one gets snookered into going to one of the "tourist restaurants," and Brennan's is on that list. Every once and awhile, as a local, one gets snookered into going to one of the "tourist restaurants," and Brennan's is on that list. With ten different ways to serve Hollandaise sauce at $35 a pop for breakfast/brunch, one certainly has to give the Brennan family "credit" for audacity, if nothing else. The prix fixe dinners are also pushed, at $38.00 (maybe they only have two price keys on their POS system?) For the most part, service is inattentive and unprofessional. My favorite highlight of the last visit was the server who BLEW THE FLAMES out on the banana foster. (maybe it was her birthday?) In any case - go if you must. But there is really no reason to. The Brennan restaurants are living proof that if you hang around long enough, you will prevail. Food Rating [4/10] Service Rating [4/10] Ambiance Rating [6/10]
