Although located directly across from the new courthouses, the cozy dining room is rarely crowded and I cannot figure out why. The prices run lower than average for this area of town - lunch for my party of four was about $20. Each of us had a sandwich and a side and drank water. I recommend trying the homemade fried potatoes - thin and crunchy, lightly salted warm chips....ummmmmmmmm. The help ain't bad, either. The waiter and the cook are consistently friendly and the service is FAST! Try it next time you are in the area, but don't tell too many people - it is still Lexington's best kept secret!
