Reviews With all due appologies to Brigham Young..."this is the place" to eat in Dodge City. Unless you want atmosphere. Kate's Restaurant is a locals' favorite , with down-home, Midwest cuisine in big portions, and at low prices. In the best sense, a family restaurant. Honestly, this Kansas traveler can say this is the "only" good restaurant in DC that I've found, except for a couple of steakhouse/club places. DC on a whole has the worst restaurants and especially service of anywhere I've traveled. Service with a smirk usually...unless you're one of the "good ol' boys" meeting for coffee.
