Certain basic dishes are pre-made, but a wider menu is available being made to order. The food is cooked in front of you. Once I asked for just broccoli with a clear garlic sauce. This was not on the menu, but what I was in the mood for. Amy threw it together, and it was delicious. The Phoenix Dumpling is an addictive restaurant. I know people who go there two to three times a week for lunch, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
