ReviewsA great mistake!!!! Driving cross country is fun, especially when you come across a place like Johnny B. Goode's! We looked in the phone book for a quick bite to eat and found a buffet in Chubbuck, Idaho about ten minutes from our hotel in Pocatello. Unfortunately for us, the sun was just setting and we passed by our turn. Before turning back around, I noticed this cute little burger joint. When we finally found the buffet, it was closed so I said, "how about that little burger place? It looked good." So, we turned around and went back. Well, being from upstate NY, I was excited about a 50's burger joint. My father and my son were with me as we entered a time machine. It was just like the movies, a great ambiance! Music on a real 45 juke and pics of Elvis and Marilyn graced the decor. I got a malt that came in a real shake glass and it was thick and plentiful. My son decided to get a fountain soda and made it a chocolate sprite (surprisingly good). I ordered their signature burger and was excited to see it come in a 1955 Chevy Bel Air. I was ecstatic to find that I could keep the car. It is on my back dash now. The fries (Idaho?) were very good and fresh tasting (not frozen?), my burger was big and juicy and yummy. We all left absolutely stuffed. I had always wanted to have a place like this at home, so if it ever breaks into a chain, I will gladly sign on!
