Daddy's for Sunday brunch to enjoy an extraordinary dining experience that we don't find here. We've enjoyed other meals there as well, but wouldn't miss the brunch. This year, I heard of a little place in the town square in Marengo Iowa about 65 miles from my home town. P.H.A.T Daddy's. WOW - The food has a uniquely salted and seasoned blend of flavors that I have never experienced. I never thought that eating Green Beans from a buffet would be so tantelizing to the taste buds. Steamed beans with peppers and onions and butter but there was something else that I couldn't put my finger on so I asked our server, who was adorned in a frilled and fringed shirt what the extra kick was, He replied that the restraunt has their own seasoning that you can buy right there at the counter as you leave, in fact there were two of them. PHAT Daddy's Seasoning and PHAT Daddy's Cajun Blackening seasoning. I had to take a bottle of each, Now when I cook at home I can enjoy some of the same flavor of PHAT Daddy's in my own home cooked food, I just don't get the service and the variety all in one.
