ReviewsTraditional but Lackluster We visited on a Thursday and were disappointed to see about a third of the menu items unavailable, apparently due to a supply problem. We visited on a Thursday and were disappointed to see about a third of the menu items unavailable, apparently due to a supply problem. The food was plentiful and well prepared, just not spectacular. That is, no local touches or twists to set it apart from other restaurants. My broiled scallops were the same as could be obtained anywhere else and my wife's quail was as difficult to eat as anywhere. The atmosphere is rustic with antiques and semi-comfortable chairs. Service was excellent; the servers were friendly and enthusiastic. Overall, it's a good place after an afternoon visit to the country or to have fun with visiting relatives, but we probably won't make the 10 mile drive again just for dinner.
