I was taken to Island Way Grill for my birthday dinner on 20th of July '02; so the following review is as of this date. I found the ambiance quite a pleasant mixture of space, glass and stonework. Tables are not crowded together as in most area restaurants, but efficiently spaced. Cleanliness was superior. Food quality and service was good, though I felt a bit rushed after dessert. Note the "Bait Bar" ... yes, Sushi Chefs. Early Specials are around $10 with salad, and house dessert is included. The 1-1/4 pound "steamed" lobster plate weighs in at $36. An optional "Bamboo" (surf-n-turf) can run $42 a plate. One surprise --- The most nicely appointed restrooms I've seen in the area; but wheelchairs could have (very minor) door negotiation problems. Normally, I would only rate a facility as "partially accessable" unless there are electric doors, but this may be an exception. Second full bar outside, overlooks the docks.
