ReviewsDinner Was Not Mrs.Palmers Best We took a charming Harley Davidson ride for the evening.. We decided to pull into The Long Ridge Tavern. The waitor told us the building is more than 200 years old and is HAUNTED by the ghost of Mrs.Palmer... Mrs Palmer likes to chat the with ladies the waitor said.."She's been known to call the waitresses names from time to time. The food? Well.. I had to send my Crab Cakes back, they tasted like old perfume., and my husbands Steak was dry. We will go back, not for the food but for the Overall Ambiance..The lounge is so BEAUTIFUL and you can feel the days gone past.. So all in all.. not a great place to dine..but that's just the ONE time I've eaten there.. I would be willing to give old Mrs.Palmer one more go around just for the heck of it.
