ReviewsTo hell with Wooster Street! This is the pizza of choice of the folks who KNOW pizza. Probably even better than Sally's and Pepe's... without the 2 hour wait. The ingredients are fresh (superb sausage and great sauce)the service is quick and efficient and in the 30+ years that they have been making pizza, even the change of owners never missed a beat. Me and my gomba, Mike P. started going to Modern. It was a 9 on a scale of 10 but service was fast and all around a better experience....and we went once a week. I have since moved to Stuart FL and the pizza ^!^!^!&!&! down here. Modern is far-and-away my favorite. Pepe's, Sally's, and Bar are distant runners ups. The ambience is perfect, service is quick and friendly, and several of the waitresses are drop-dead grogeous.
