ReviewsConsistant and dependable The "Pot" in Branford has been supplying consistantly great seafood for many years. Subsequently, the wait can be considerable for seating particularly at dinner hour. Saturday night wait of at least an hour is standard. The food is of high quality and fresh and nearly always delivers exactly what you expect. Baked stuffed lobsters are excellent both for the delicious seafood stuffing and the fact that the lobster is moist (a rarity with baked). Lobster pie is also a winner, loaded with meat and easier to eat than the whole body version. Most of the help is professional though with the business they do, I have occasionally gotten a server who is annoyingly slow but that is the exception rather than the rule. The surroundings are pleasant in a nautical theme though it is time to dust the rope nets overhead. The cobwebs appear ready to land in the chowder.
