ReviewsDisappointed by service On a group ski trip to Breckenridge in March 2003, we did our share of finding restaurants that could accommodate our group size (7-11 people), tastes, and pocketbooks. A quick glance at the Horseshoe II's menu in a tourist guide indicated a standard American menu, family charm, blah, blah, blah. The service was varied- some of the wait staff was excellent, others indifferent and seeming to want to end their ski season. Our server thought that flirting would make up for her inattention to listen to our individual requests (including simple ones, like no condiments). A follow-up letter to advise the restaurant of their lacking service has been unacknowledged. Since I'm from another mountain west ski town, I can fairly compare restaurant service. I'd spend my hard-earned tourist dollars elsewhere and go somewhere were service is more than perfunctory.
