Reviews

Bring a bottle!

San Remo is a fairly standard Italian restaurant. The food is quite tasty, though nothing spectular, and represents good value for money. San Remo is a fairly standard Italian restaurant. The food is quite tasty, though nothing spectular, and represents good value for money. Excellent place to go in groups (of up to about 12 persons) and the bring a bottle offer (nil corkage) is great for students / people on a budget. (There is an off-licence slightly further up Mansfield Road if you left it til the last minute) A friend of mine actually handed the waiter a screw cap bottle of MD20/20 and it was opened without a word of complaint! (NB: The restaurant has a wine list, so you don't have to bring a bottle)
