Food - is simple, comtemporary but well put together with nice ingredients. I had the Lamb cutlets, with Rosemary which where just right... the rosemary tasted right through to the jus without overpowering! My champions had other dishes that they equally enjoyed! Desserts - My friends & I did a survey of Bread Puddings in Bath, and this was clearly the best we found. Good size puddings & they are happy for you to share. Service - can be a little slow depending on how busy they are, I don't think that they have a very big staff, but they are prompt/polite and I don't remember ever having cold food Ambience - Sometimes early it can be a bit quiet but you sit down order some good wine, get engrossed in conversation and the next minute you look up the place is full! How did that happen? Background music that's not so loud that you can't talk over it.
