Top : Thailand : Bangkok : Le Cafe SiamA two storey colonial house built in 1921 by one of the engineers of the Royal Railway of Siam. It was later renovated by two French entrepreneurs to now house the Le Cafe Siam restaurant, a home with the elegance of a bygone era. There is an upstairs with cozy small rooms but the complete house is stuffed with handicrafts that are all for sale. The Thai and French menu are equally delicious and the garden area is especially nice to dine al freso during the cool months. 4 Soi Akson, Chua Ploeng Rd, Rama IV Bangkok Thailand 10120 Telephone : (66-02) 671-0030 Opening Times : 12:00 Noon - 2:00PM, 6:30PM - 10:30PM

ReviewsFrench Thai...not fusion, Two great menus ! We were greeted at the door on our first visit to this restaurant that is hidden amongst the trees and bushes that surround the property. The interior is lovely with all types of artifacts. The service was friendly and quick and our food which was basically French for myself and Thai food for my date was delicious as we tried a sample of many dishes and enjoyed every morsel.
