ReviewsDining out @ ESTÄSI on Ponsonby Road The first impression of this restaurant is fabulous. It is well decorated, excellent adjusted between lightening system and the candle lamp on each table, used material e.g. pictures, unused fireplace, fish tank with couple of colourfull fishes really are giving a cosy feeling. Now I will start with the service aspect... the manager has seated us immediately (even we have not made any reservation), but not woman first!!! This mistake happens ALL the time. The set of cutlery is 'simple' and wrong! Side dish was set on the right hand side of the guest; it supposed to be on the left!! And after we have ordered food & drink, our service person has not directly come and clears the glassware and side dishes that we don’t need. Our meals come out pretty quick. The entrée and main has 'quite' similar taste even it is totally different dishes!! So may be there is only one type of sauce there! Our service person, he's eager to sell us fish of the day and somehow he has forgotten part of the name or how it is called. We have ordered beer and it comes in a bottle... how he serves the first glass it is very professional, half a glass only left in the bottle right next to the glass, but the problem is, that he does not know whether our beer is finished or not.
