This is by far the very best restaurant I have ever been to. I was fortunate enough to get to eat there often, because I grew up in Cuernavaca, but now, living in Indiana, there is nowhere in the entire midwest that even begins to compare. When you arrive, you are ushered into the garden area, where you leisurely snack on hors d'oeuvres, and enjoy a virgin conga or piña colada (I do not drink), place your order, and wait for the table to be prepared. You are surrounded by a lush tropical paradise, with various tropical birds walking around the gardens (peacocks, flamingos, pheasants, etc.) When your dinner is ready, the host ushers you from the garden area to the dining area, which is either the umbrella-covered wrought iron tables on the veranda, or the covered, yet open area around a huge fireplace (for cool evenings). You are sat down, and a warm, but empty plate is placed in front of you. Your meal is brought out to you in serving dishes, and the waiters (which abound) serve your plate directly. You can enjoy a vast array of desserts after your meal. My personal favorite is the "black-bottom pie." All in all, it is the best dining experience you could ever have.
