Reviews

While on holidays recently I had the rare and unfortunate experience of sampling a Hungry Jacks burger. You know what it's like on holidays, easier and more convenient to grab a fast food meal sometimes. We could have had a McD's but on the rare occasion I have tried those it has just reinforced my feeling that the yanks know nothing about making a decent burger and the formula they use here in Aus just doesn't work. Well I have to say now that HJ's are just as bad! Hamburger, what a joke! -a piece of tasteless meat(?) what sort of meat is it? it needs to be changed! also no tomato sauce, no onions, just some mayonnaise, since when did Australian burgers have mayonnaise in them? plus some awful looking and tasting cheese and a bit of limp lettuce, oh and I think there may have been an egg in there somewhere but who knows, it was just a tasteless bit of rubbish!! Then there was the chips! Chips!! Hah! Tasteless bits of fatty stringy potato with nothing in the middle! Please take some lessons in how to make decent chips! Oh and then there is the service, I don't know why but most of your outlets seem to employ young girls who unfortunately have to repeat the same old lines many times a day and after a while learn to almost sing the message mantra style at a speed and style which is almost totally incomprehensible to the normal human ear. Why not get serious and offer some real competition to the likes of McD's, there is an opportunity there to offer good fresh tasty burgers and chips, if only you should try! Get out there and find out what people want, because it's not the tasteless fodder you are dishing up now!! Sorry but I feel so strongly about this because I resent paying approx $20.00 for burgers for 3 when they taste so bad you can't even finish them!! Rick

i have had both hj's and macca's and have found that hj's is far better value wise and taste wise.the staff at the store that i attend most times are the nicest bunch of young adults. they are always polite and welcome you with a smile. the restaurant is always spotless and would not ever consider going back to macca's again i have had both hj's and macca's and have found that hj's is far better value wise and taste wise.the staff at the store that i attend most times are the nicest bunch of young adults. they are always polite and welcome you with a smile. the restaurant is always spotless and would not ever consider going back to macca's again
