Langtons

Langtons Restaurant Wine Bar in Melbourne claimed the highest award of Best Restaurant in Victoria for 2001 in the 15th Annual American Express Awards. Combining a first class restaurant and a first class Wine Bar, and operated by the Langtons of wine auction fame. The restaurant features an open kitchen and a much talked about Bonnet Stove from France. The Wine Bar offers around 30 wines by the glass, and links to the alfresco Terrace, for enjoying a casual fine wine in the open. Also awarded three Chefs Hats in The Age Food Guide 2001. Said to be as informal or "special occasion" as the situation requires.
