The newly renovated hotel has not only had an amazing face lift but has an astonishing amount of food to choose from. This country pub has been transformed into a vibrant dining and drinking establishment which was so needed in town. The food ranges from spaghetti bolognes to locally smoked and double smoke rib fillets which have to be tasted to be believed. You can choose from thai chicken noodles(served with chopsticks and cutlery), fish of the day which is delivered fresh each Friday, and the prices are reasonable and the amount of food more than enough for even large eaters. The drinks are standard pub prices and you can dine inside or out on the verandah over looking the park. Laidley has become a popular spot in recent years, the get away from Brisbane with wineries, country markets and equestrian events. Only 1 1/2 hours west of Brisbane it has spectacular valley scenery which is popular with the cycling associations and weekend getaways.
